Walk E Mekoundia nach Grabia 2 hours. Part shade at the end of the walk
The walk begins on the main KARYSTOS-MEKOUNDIA road, at the turning to AGIA TRIADA. Go uphill on the main road towards MEKOUNDIA, and take the first path on the right. You can see a white wall and an old house on the right. Follow the path to a stream. Cross the stream and go up to a wall with steps in it. Continue on the path keeping to the left of the house. The path joins a wonderful KALDERIMI (stone path) which takes you to the 5 FOUNTAINS, at the church of AGIA SOFIA in GRABIA. Turn left on the road and take the KALDERMI on the right uphill to the church of AGIA AIKATERINI (St. KATHERIN). Turn right at the church along the path and then left to the AQUADUCT (KAMARES). Continue along the AQUADUCT and follow the road to MEKOUNDIA, which leads to the church of EVANGELISTRIA. Go downhill and take a path on the right which goes to a KALDERIMI. The KALDERIMI goes steeply downhill and has wonderful pine trees on the left. The KALDERIMI ends at the road to AGIA TRIADA. Turn left back to main road.
